Indian food

Different regions in India have different food habits.

1. North India- People of Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh grow a lot of wheat, so they eat chapatis, paranthas, pulses, etc. They include a lot of dairy products in their diet. 

2. East India- In Odisha, West Bengal, Assam People mainly eat rice and fish. Odisha and West Bengal are famous for producing a lot of seafood and fish.

3. West India- In Goa, Maharashtra and Gujarat people usually have rice and fish. The famous foods like dhokla, khakra, and thepla belong to Gujarat. People on the western side uses cotton oil to cook food. They include a high amount of pulses in their diet.

4. South India- People in this region include a lot of rice in their diet and their favorite foods are Idli Sambhar, Dosa, Coconut chutney etc.
