Planets 

  1. Mercury: It is the nearest planet to the sun, but it is not the hottest planet due to the thin layer of atmosphere. Its surface is covered by hard rocks and big holes called craters. Mercury has no life it in.
  2. Venus: ?It is the second nearest planet from the sun. It is the hottest planet of the solar system due to the thick atmosphere layer that traps heat inside and makes it hottest and impossible for life. Venus has no moon and also it rotates in the opposite direction from east to west.
  3. Earth: It is the third planet from the sun.It is in the perfect position from sun.70% of the earth surface is covered with water and 30 % with the land. It has the right amount of air, water, and heat to make life possible on earth. It is the only planet that has life in it. Moon is the natural satellite of the earth, Moon takes 27 days to revolve around the earth. Earth takes 365 days to complete one circle around the sun and 1 day to its own that's y day and night on happening,  on earth.
  4. Mars: It is the fourth and cold planet. It has red dust moving in the atmosphere because of which it appears red and called a Red Planet. its surface is covered by rocks.
  5. Jupiter: It is the fifth planet from the sun and it is the biggest planet in the solar system. Its surface is covered by gases only and it has a large storm going inside it.so it is known as a stormy planet:.it has more than 60 moons around it.
  6. Saturn: is the second biggest planet in the solar system. it has gases inside. it has rocks, gaseous and ice moving around it that looked like a hard ring . It has 62 moons.
  7. Uranus: It is the big planet of gases and it is very cold so it looks like an ice ball so it is called an ice giant. It has 27 moons.
  8. Neptune: It is the farthest planet from the sun. It is the coldest planet of the solar system. It has 14 moons.It also has a ring of the storm.

Note:

  • Mercury is the nearest and Neptune is the farthest planet from the sun.
  • Venus is the hottest and Neptune is the coldest planet from the sun.
  • Mercury is the smallest and Jupiter is the biggest planet of the solar system.
  • Mars is known as Red planet
